Let My People Go
Synagogue restroom renovation
2017 — Built
Architectural Design
This interior design for a synagogue's restrooms creates cascading patterns of ceramic wall tile to generate visual intrigue and dynamic sight lines in an otherwise constrained footprint of an existing building. Embracing the modest budget as a design opportunity, the graphic strategy for the tile produces unexpected alignments and novel reflections, while limiting overall material use. Saturated colors and clean lines transform a previously drab room into one full of light, patterns, and joy.
